En el curso 2005/2006 la Consejería de Educación creó en el Instituto una Sección Lingüística de Lengua Inglesa para el desarrollo en la ESO de un currículo integrado hispano-británico en el marco del Convenio firmado entre el Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia y The British Council.
